Pleasanton City Notices
Water Restrictions: The City's irrigation schedule of three days per week based on the address: even numbers may water on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays, odd numbers may water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The hours for using sprinklers are midnight to 11 am, and 7 PM to midnight on your designated days. These conditions may change due to extreme use or when there are problems with any of our wells.
October 10, 2014:
Republic will now be providing a recycle pick up service. This service will be every other wednesday beginning October 22, 2014. Items that can be placed in the recycling bins will include:
CANS-CLEAN ALUMINUM, TIN/STEEL CONTAINERS.
CARDBOARD-CLEAN BOXES, CLEAN BOX STUFFERS, ENVELOPES, DRINK CONTAINERS.
NEWSPAPER-CLEAN, DRY, UNSOILED NEWSPAPER.
PLASTIC- PETE & HDPE CONTAINERS (MILK JUGS * SOFT DRINK CONTAINERS)
ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS!!!
Also, if you do not want your old recycle bin, you may place it inside the new recycle bin and it will be picked up.

The Pleasanton Fire Department will be giving away FREE smoke detectors just in time for the holidays while supplies last! You may contact the Pleasanton Fire Department at (830) 569-2813 to schedule your FREE instalation of the smoke detector. They will call you just before arriving to verify that you are home. Don't miss out on this great oppurtunity. If you are not a Pleasanton resident but live in Atascosa County you may contact your local Fire department for details on your free smoke detectors.

The next city-wide cleanup for Pleasanton starts Monday, March 16. The City of Pleasanton appreciates the cooperation of our residents and businesses in keeping Pleasanton beautiful. The city will be divided into three areas. Week One will run March 16-20 for the area east of Hwy. 281 and north of the Industrial park and this area may set bulky waste out starting March 2. Week Two will run March 23- 27 for the area west of Hwy. 281 to Bryant Street and south of Oaklawn and this area may set bulky waste out starting March 9. Week three will run March 30-April 3 for the areas west of Bryant Street and north of Oaklawn Street and may set out bulky waste starting March 16. Bulky waste set out prior to their set out date are subject to fines.
