New mass notification system
Atascosa County is happy to announce the release of a new Communications System that will benefit the residents of the county. The system is called i-INFO. It will provide the County a means to deliver mass notifications (emergency warnings, amber alerts, road closures, and other county information). This program is free and is a voluntary program. You must sign up to receive information provided by the county. This is a part of a larger regional effort made of several Counties and Cities around San Antonio that make up AACOG (Alamo Area Council of Government).
At this time the information can only be delivered over the internet to your e-mail address or by text message to your cell phone. It is managed by i-INFO system, a highly-secure system used by thousands of organizations, cities, school districts and counties to manage their information. Likewise, i-INFO allows each resident to securely access and manage their own information
